Poverty and a lack of medical facilities in rural areas of India limits proper care for a large segment of the population.   Fishhook partners operate free medical clinics in such communities.

Every year about 5,000 people are treated at these medical clinics and thousands more receive care at temporary village camps. 

These medical clinics and camps also provide clinical training for the students in the Jaya Nursing School.
